1. Keep the face clean
It is important to ensure that your skin breaths properly throughout the night. The first step to making this possible is to washing your face right before bedtime. It will rid the face of all dirt, makeup and products used on the face.
2. Keep the face moisturised
Sleeping causes the skin to get dehydrated, therefore moisturising keeps it hydrated. After the face has been cleaned properly, apply a good moisturiser over your face. Massage it thoroughly, and let it seep through the skin in order to have a healthy skin in the morning.
3. Apply an eye-cream
If you want to avoid puffy eyes or wrinkles, better apply an eye-cream or a moisturiser aoround the eyes. As the skin underneath and around the eyes are the thinnest area on the face, it is good to use an eye-cream or a moisturiser with Vitamin E. Make sure to massage gently when applying the cream.
4. Exfoliate the lips
If you want to have smooth lips in the morning that is not dry with flaky skin, then scrub out the lips before going to bed each night. The simplest way to do this is by rubbing a dampned toothbrush (without any paste) on the lips, as it removes dead skin and flakes due to dehydration or use of too many products. Or make a DIY lip scrub by mixing 1 tablespoon of ground sugar with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. After scrubbing, wash off and apply a good lip-balm for the night.
5. Put on tall socks
Socks can aid in a better sleep and increasing of blood circulation at night. Especially tall and tight socks, which can increase the circulation due to the slight pressure and rid your leg of tiredness, heaviness, and reduces swelling as well.
