The news of Coca-cola's decision to replace Coke Zero with a new drink popped up at the end of last month. But it is not exactly a new drink, it is actually still the same but with a different name, a new look, and a different taste.
Meet the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar
According the company, their upgraded version of the Coke Zero begin distribution this month. "The upgraded Coke Zero is called Coke Zero Sugar, and it’s made with an even better-tasting recipe that delivers real Coca-Cola taste with zero sugar and zero calories. We’re confident Coke Zero Sugar is our best-tasting zero-sugar Coca-Cola® yet. And we can’t wait for you to try it!" the company states in a statement.
How come they are changing 'Coca-Cola Zero' though? Apparently, people were unaware the Coke Zero did not contain any sugar or calories. Hence due to all the confusion, Coco Cola decided to change the name to 'Coca-Cola Zero Sugar' so it is quite clear to everyone, that it comes without sugar.
The company explains that the main different when it comes to taste, is the natural flavours, and made it more similar to the original Coca-Cola.
Here's a list of the ingredients in both versions of the 'Zero'
