Andy Rubin, the creator of Android has released a new smartphone, and it looks beautiful!

Known as 'The Essential Phone', it has a titanium and ceramic build , a bezel-less edge-to-edge screen of 5.7 inches (even better than the Samsung Galaxy S8) , that goes all the way to the top and is parted and wrapped around the front facing camera.

When we take a look at what is inside, we see that it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, a pixel resoultion of 2560 x 1312 (a 19:10 ration), an 8-megapixel front facing camera, a 13-megapixel dual camera on the back along with a fingerprint sensor, and a 3,040mAH battery!

The Essential Phone uses a USB-C port and does not include a headphone jack, and is not  water resistance either. However, because of its titanium body it is pretty durable, which is a plus for those who constantly drop their phone. Moreover, the back of the phone features a magnetic connector that works with a couple of accessories such as a 360 camera.

The founder of the 'Essential' company; Andy Rubin has said that he believes "devices are your personal property" and thus, did not include any logo in the back or front of the device.

The unlocked version will cost USD 699, and is currently available for pre-order in the US. The company is also offering the device for a promotional price of USD 748 with the 360 camera included in the package. It comes in four colours; black moon, pure white, stellar gray, and ocean depths.
