Evidently; Ed Sheeran is not done with ‘Dividing and Conquering’; as he has announced of bringing in even more music later this year.
Even after dominating the charts with the songs from his record- breaking third album ÷, Ed has revealed that he has recorded more songs in Ghana last year; and is yet to unleash to the world.
Ed spoke The Sun about it stating; “We made a bunch of music, one song made the album then there’s more coming out.”
“There’s actually a full song being released with me, Fuse and R2Bees.”
As Ed previously said this album is the “peak” of his career, we can’t be sure about how good the songs would be compared to the current hit album ÷.
"I felt that with the first album," he told BBC Music. "I remember thinking I would never write a song as good as 'A Team'. And then 'Thinking Out Loud' came, and I was like, 'Oh, OK, well maybe it's not impossible.”
"So going into this album, there was no worry at all because I knew I'd done it before. It's not like 'Thinking Out Loud' will be the peak of my career. It's definitely happened on this album. There's definitely one that's better."
In the meantime, Sir Elton John revealed that he was “Sick” of Ed before his year-long break in 2016… well, in a way.
The ‘Rocker Man’ singer explained; "Yeah, he was so omnipresent. I said, 'Ed, even I'm sick of you. Go away.'"
"And he did. He just went to the Far East with his girlfriend, had a great time, put on a lot of weight, ate food and came back."
He also said that Ed’s break was “the best thing he could have done”.
