The North Korean state media has warned of a nuclear attack on the US as any signs of aggression from the US warships. North Korea states that it would counter “Reckless acts of Aggression” with “Whatever methods the US wants to take.”

North Korean media also stated "Our revolutionary strong army is keenly watching every move by enemy elements with our nuclear sight focused on the U.S invasionary bases not only in South Korea and the Pacific operation theatre but also in the U.S mainland."

The United States of America on Sunday deployed its fleet led by the 97,000 ton USS Carl Vinson escorted by a guided-missile cruiser and two destroyer ships after the latest missile test by North Korea last week.

US President Donald Trump, described the fleet as a ‘Very Powerful Armada’. Stating that the North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un was “Doing the wrong thing”.

According to Reuters, sources from Tokyo have also confirmed that Japanese warships will be joining the Carl Vinson fleet in an effort to deter North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.
