Use comparison apps.

If you think that low cost carrier flight offer the lowest fares, it is not always true.

Sometimes the lowest fares are offered by the luxury airlines. And by using fare comparison apps and websites, you will be able to decide on the lowest prices, also if you book in advance in some high class airlines, you are able to get it at a cheaper price.

Seat sales and hotel promos – there are a lot of companies offering them. Some companies reduce rates as a loyalty offers. Others do promo stunts.

Don’t always go with cheapest.

It shouldn’t always be about the price either, Go with what gives the best value for the money spent.

Don’t think of the basic rule of “anywhere will do, I’ll just sleep in it anyway”. If you can find another place which is comfortable, and is just slightly pricier. Go for it. Comfort should sit in your highest list of priorities. Your room shouldn’t be just a place to sleep. It should be the place you get comfortable in. when you book accommodations, look through all their amenities and browse through the reviews

And the same thing applies to the flights you take. Don’t just grab the cheapest fares but check the other aspects as well and make your journey as pleasant as it should be.

Don’t Try to do it all.

The main drawbacks of newbie travelers is that, they usually find themselves in a tight schedule. Places are best enjoyed when you have time, and you’re not in a rush.

Slow down! Breathe. Take your time.

Rushing takes away the fun – especially in destinations that demand more of your time and attention.

Don’t let fear control you

It’s okay to be afraid, but don’t let the fear control you.

Set up a fund

This will make your life easier, setting up a travel account. And ideal way to save money is to have two accounts, one called the ‘Savings’ account and the other the ‘Travel’ account.

The best way to acquire foreign currency is by withdrawing from the ATMs, and if the account gets compromised – card gets stolen. You’re not in much trouble since your savings account would be safe at home. And that’s where all your money is at.

Pack Light

We keep hearing this all the time, but it’s so hard to put it into practice, you always tend to bring a lot on every trip, to be prepared for the best and worst case scenario.

And also for trips that tend to be longer, do your laundry at that destinations. Always pack clothes for 6 days.

The trip would feel so enjoyable and easy when you don’t feel like the whole world is in your backpack.
